*Add is mostly silent these days, but will regain his talkative nature, eventually. Add is the seal to the Noble Phantasm, Rhongomyniad, or King Arthur's holy lance. In his neutral form, Add takes on the appearance of a cube within a fairy/bird cage. He's small enough that Gray hooks him onto a harness underneath her cloak and he's always with her. After her transformation into the blessed child, Add awoken. As this was a time where others abandoned her, the pseudo-personality on the noble phantasm became her only and best friend. He's most often seen laughing shrilly and making fun of/teasing Gray. While he usually acts as Gray's weapon and transforms into many items during their adventures, he is simply her companion and friend in Avalon.
APPEARANCE NOTE: Unfortunately for Gray, her story is that of an attempted reincarnation of her universe's King Arthur. While her personality is her own her body takes the form of Saber/Artoria Pendragon with the only change being the color of her hair (gray). Characters who know of the other are more than welcome to notice this fact with very poor reaction. However, please note, that unless otherwise stated Gray is always wearing a hood and pulls it low enough to obscure her face.

INFORMATION
A young girl born into an old Welsh village, Gray never expected to leave that village. A small place with barely a hundred people living in it, the village she was born into was a place out of time with its own rules and regulations. Visitors were uncommon and, so, she really should have lived and died in that village — In face "Gray" did die in that village once.
A sheltered child, when Gray was not quite five years old she would awaken in pain as her body reshaped itself to that of another person — King Arthur's form. From that day forward, a simple life was lost as she became the revered and blessed child of her village. The first to drop to their knees at that time was her mother, a fact she will likely never forgive or forget as she attests this to be the first reason why she hates her face.
Already a mild and shy girl, this change would change Gray's future and any shaping of her personality. She comes in many ways to detest herself and, knowing her future, gave up on living. She was always going to be a shy, country girl, but this fact made her critical of others, but most especially herself. She began to see the world as not in black or white, but gray — with herself the most lifeless of it all. (Her name was deliberately chosen to be/spelled "Gray" because of the in-between nature).
Never seen as a person on her own, but merely the body needed for that revered king... Gray has always separated her existence to that of "Gray". While there were things she came to like, such as adventure and detective novels, buttered toasts, and most especially sweets, it was deemed selfish of her to put a focus on herself and so for a long time she didn't.
Until that man, Lord El-Melloi II, arrived in her village and was both afraid of her face and asked if people to change. He was a pitiful man who, at the time, earned her distaste, but she saw how he rose against the mountains of the coveted Clock Tower. And being one of the only people who say her as "Gray" and wanted the abilities of Gray, she couldn't turn away. She wanted to follow him and so she did, agreeing to let him use her for his own own sake under one condition: Continue to hate her face.
What started as a means of escape, both from the death of "Gray" and to leave that village, became something far more. The Gray in that village had already given up and accepted her fate. The Gray that arrived in London as the apprentice of Lord El-Melloi II began to want to live and protect those around her. A girl easily overwhelmed with information from her quiet, sheltered life, Gray still chooses to hide behind her teacher in conversation. At the same time, she's blossomed enough to tease him and try to contain their group's energy when he cannot.
She's a girl who's been known to throw herself into the fire to save someone who's undoubtedly villainous. She's a girl who loves sweets, adventure novels, and children's television shows (a novelty for a girl who grew up with no electricity and little contact with the outside world). She's a girl who, for the first time, is really discovering what it is to be her own person.

I don't seek out romance with her, but if it happens organically I'm happy to do so! (Though, admittedly, I do ship her with Reines a bit but it's hard not to with that internal thought).
* Killing: I'm not opposed to killing if the plot works out that way, but this is something we would need to heavily discuss first and can't be a situation where it's permanent.
WARNINGS: Gray comes from the Fate/ franchise which always comes with its own can of worms. While I always try to be very forthcoming and don't touch on certain topics without discussion, permission, and tagging this can be a difficult series to handle! While Gray doesn't come with too many warning labels it should be noted that she comes with a hefty dose of imposter syndrome, child neglect, and body horror. The latter can be most troublesome given how she describes the change in her appearance. All of these things are daily troubles, so please let me know if you'd prefer to avoid them and/or her.
